pyproj

Python wrapper for the PROJ.4 cartographic projections library. The module should be possible to install on any system with Python distutils and a C compiler. For Windows without this there is a precompiled version, too.

Yes, I know, there is another pyproj module doing essentially the same thing. Coding in the isolation of a ship at sea without internet sometimes leads to reinventing the wheel...
