I am employed as a researcher. My primary project is a Multi-sensor, multi-scale investigation of snow properties with funding from the Swedish National Space Board, Rymdstyrelsen. A smaller project, funded by SIDA , will investigate environmental change in Darfur, Sudan, and the relationship between environment, climate and conflict.
I also have projects receiving support from the Alaskan Satellite facility, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency.
In addition I am responsible for the Swedish Regional Centre in GLIMS .
I teach remote sensing within the Geomatics Program at INK/DPGQG and contribute to the supervision of two PhD Students.
