Fredrik Liljeros
I was born in Upplands Väsby outside Stockholm. Several important persons have lived in or have a connection to Upplands Väsby. The hospital where I was born, Löwenströmska sjukhuset, was originally a donation from the family Löwenström for being allowed to change name from Anckarström. ( Jakob Johan Anckarström did kill the Swedish king Gustav III in 1792.) In eighties was Upplands Väsby the center of Heavy Metal in Sweden. Both the band Europe and Yngwee Malmsteen lived in Upplands Väsby during this period. The probably best and most poetic description of Upplands Väsby I know (by the band HEAT) can be found here (Unfortunately in Swedish).
