Implementation of the compendium concept with Sweave and DOCSTRIP

This article suggests an implementation of the compendium concept of Gentleman and Lang (Statistical analysis and reproducible research, Journal of computational and graphical statistics", 16:1-23, 2007) using Sweave markup and the LaTeX literate programming environment DOCSTRIP. It is accepted for publication in The R Journal.
