Matlin‛s new start page…
I know that I wrote on the previous page that I was going to migrate my homegrown AJAX ganja to Prototype but as time passed I discovered jQuery and fell in like with it.
Why? You ask. Well, it‛s sooooo much easier to handle than prototype, it works much easier and it MUCH smaller in size. That‛s all I need really.
All I wish for is some proper documentation…
Improving on the effects…
I'm toying with a jquery plugin called accordion and since the the jquery lib is a bit abstract I'm running into some strange stuff that I am trying to understand.
First it's the fact that accordion only accords once then stops working.
I will alert my way through the small amount of code that makes the plugin and I will figure it out, but first I have to eat.
I managed to figure it out, it turns out that the running variable wasn't reset to 0 as it was supposed to, why
is beyond me. The code is supposed to do it.
The layout, a PIE in the face…
I can't really explain it so i'll leave it to the real proffesionals.
