Yves Zenou is professor of economics at Stockholm University.
Yves Zenou was previously a visiting professor at the department of economics at the University of California, Berkeley (2009-2010),
a professor of economics at the University of Southampton, UK (2000-2003), a Research Fellow at CORE. Belgium (1994-1996) and a
Guest Professor at the European University Institute, Osaka University, Sciences Po (Paris), Tel Aviv University.
His research is both theoretical and empirical and his interests include: (i) Social interactions and network theory,
(ii) Search and matching theory, (iii) Urban economics, (iv) Segregation and discrimination of ethnic minorities,
(v) Identity and assimilation of immigrants, (vi) Criminality and (vii) Education
Yves Zenou is also affiliated to the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN,
Stockholm), the Groupe d'Analyse des Itineraires et Niveaux Salariaux (GAINS, Le Mans),
the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR, London) and the Institute for the Study of
Labor (IZA, Bonn).
He is currently the Editor of Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Associate Editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association,
Journal of Public Economic Theory, Journal of Urban Economics, Scandinavian Journal of Economics,
and Annals of Economics and Statistics.
